here you'll find images of suzanne vega i took until 1995 and some other kind of images. one of the most liberating and rewarding characteristics of vega's songwriting is that it elicits a myriad of images, still and moving ones, textures, landscapes of colors and visual atmospheres. have a look at some of what i see in my mind's eye when i listen to her music, think about it, or when i just let it linger beneath my skin. be reminded too of all the other pictures scattered through 'watermarks'. they all aim to connect somehow, and, above all, invite you to set the sail to your own journey, to a voyage guided by your own coordinates. sail on. |
